Our Management Team

We, the Partners of Henden Manor Estates LLP, manage the Estate from our home and through the office on the farm.  We are ultimately responsible for all of its activities.  We lead on developing the farm’s strategy and its financial management, working with the support of our dairy farm manager, our office assistant and advisers.  We are responsible for all investment decisions and estate management.

The dairy farm manager is Diana Guitane, a young, professional lady from Latvia, who joined Henden in December 2010.  Prior to joining Henden she worked as Assistant Herd Manager on the Lord Rayleigh Estate in Essex.  Henden has one of the youngest dairy teams in the country, something we are proud of.  We employ five people to run the farm and one to manage the estate.  As ever there is learning to be done, but the team is not bound by traditional thoughts and methods of British farming.  The team is encouraged to always look for new ideas and to embrace sound advice from outside professionals to improve the way the business works to the benefit of themselves, the livestock and the environment.  The team knows that knowledge, safety, care and attention to detail are the keys to success.

As touched upon, the team is actively supported by a range of advisers, including vets, a nutritionist, an agronomist, mechanics and a general farming consultancy.  In addition, the work of the team and the advisers is inspected regularly by M&S's inspection teams, the RSPCA, Red Tractor - Farm & Food Assurance and the Environment Agency.  Sometimes these inspections occur without notice.
